Designed for supplementary circuit protection where branch circuit protection exists or is not required, it provides overload protection only and must be used with an upstream fuse for short circuit protection.
Conforms to UL 1077 standards for supplemental protection and is commonly used for applications where the product is plugged into utility power or has high current AC or DC requirements, such as industrial equipment, motor homes, and marine applications.
Manually resettable and ignition rated (UL 1500), it is approved for marine engine compartments, and it comes with a variety of design options like button color, bushing type, mounting hardware, terminal configurations and protective splashproof boots that make it IP55 rated.
